| Job Description |
Duties: The ENLACE FLORIDA executive office at the USF Tampa Campus is in the midst of exciting projects related to Florida PK-20 education policy development. ENLACE FLORIDA seeks an online content manager who will develop web applications, conduct website testing and troubleshooting, and research solutions for web/database programming-related problems and maintain current, ongoing set of web development skills for their website which will be a clearinghouse of educational policy information for a statewide network. The content manager will be able to conceptualize and design the website layout and interaction, effectively create a set of functions/methods to produce it, and be able to efficiently optimize their code set for reuse. The content manager will work with the Assistant Director and any technical web development staff or vendors, support and maintain all elements of www.enlaceflorida.org. |

| Qualifications |
Minimum Qualifications:
Some experience in designing web sites/page templates using ASP, JavaScript, CSS and HTML.
Ability to create compelling visuals/graphic designs using graphic editors like PhotoShop, Illustrator, or InDesign.
Detail oriented
Deliver work that is high quality and on time.
Have an interest and/or some experience with educational policy and educational research
Deep understanding of web technologies (not just websites & email but social networks, blogs, micro-blogging and a good understanding of mobile tech (smart phones, SMS messaging, etc.)
Possess a commitment to nonprofit work and the mission/values of ENLACE FLORIDA
Ability to provide support and training for web content contributors, internally and externally. Manage links and cross-promotions with other organizations’ websites and provide web-related assistance and support to grassroots leaders.
Ability to coordinate message and online outreach and promotion to advance advocacy campaigns. Assist with overarching concepts and messaging for initiative campaigns.
Able to manage web applications for e-advocacy.
Able to maintain and develop the master content calendar and related online/virtual campaigns.
Ability to ensure make available accurate and useful statistics for website usage
Ability to optimize web content for search engines.
Ability to troubleshoot ability and an innate understanding of technology
Have experience creating and maintaining online content both manually and with a Content Management System
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge SQL server programming.
Experience related to education policy analysis and research would be helpful but not necessarily required.
Basic experience with digital video
Some prior experience with either online/offline grassroots organizing
Animating and programming Flash-based user experience.
Bachelors degree in a relevant field such as Communications, Marketing, Public Relations.
