The ASTD Certification Institute built the Certified Professional in Learning and Performance™ (CPLP™) credential to provide a way for workplace learning and performance professionals to prove their value to employers and to be confident about their knowledge of the field.

ASTD CPLP™Prep Workshop
The CPLP™ Prep Workshop is a two-day workshop. It gives participants a high level review of the nine areas of expertise on the knowledge exam, helps identify areas where further study is needed, enhances your test-taking skills, and shows you how to prepare the required work product for submission.

The ASTD Suncoast Chapter is proud to announce a partnership with the Certification Institute to hold a certification prep class in the Tampa Bay area in October 2008.

This two-day workshop is the perfect starting point for preparing for both the knowledge-based CPLP™ exam and the work product submission. Through exclusive samples of successful work products and 250 assessment questions, participants will bolster exam-day and work product preparation. The workshop provides participants a high level review of the nine areas of expertise from the ASTD Competency Model, helps identify areas where further study is needed, and enhances your test-taking skills.  It is designed to bolster exam-day and work product preparation confidence but is not meant to serve as a substitute for your full preparation. It will help you highlight areas you many need to study further and you will leave with a clear understanding of the steps you need to take to prepare your work product submission. An added benefit is all participants receive a complete set of the ASTD Learning System.
