Come discover how a deeper understanding of hypnosis can benefit your training programs and outcomes
SESSION DESCRIPTION
You will have a better understanding of how our two minds, conscious and unconscious, work together (or not) to help us understand, internalize, and apply new concepts presented in training programs. You will hear about why the best trainers are also excellent hypnotists (many without realizing it!).You will see slides that illustrate how brain wave states affect our receptivity to new material. And you will get a feel for how you can use this information to improve your training skills.

Art began his training career in the USAF at age 22. He became the NCO in charge of management training for the 41st Air Division at Yokota Air Base, Japan while taking courses from the University of Maryland – Far East Division in Tokyo. He then invested 30 years in a career with the Dupont company, retiring as the Corporate Manager of Human Development. A career high was co-developing a 2-day workshop, “Targeted Development” that helps employees learn how to manage their own careers in a global organization.
From there Art was employed in Chicago by Kanbay (now Capgemini), a global financial services IT consulting company. He started as Director of Knowledge Management (200 employees) and left 8 years later as Vice President of Learning and Culture (7,000 employees.
Art moved his private practice, U-Solutions, LLC, from Chicago to Sarasota when he and his wife, Joan, moved here about 2 ½ years ago. His current work involves consulting and coaching individuals, groups, and organizations using traditional business strategies and models, but also adding hypnosis and neuro linguistic programming (NLP) methodologies.
His current individual clients include golfers (from whom he gets NO referrals!), and people who need a personal breakthrough to get from a “stuck state” to where they want to go. Some are in career decision status, some are dealing with habit changing, others are paralyzed by public speaking, test taking, or phobias, others with motion sickness, lack of goal achievement, or thought patterns that block progress toward the success they are seeking.
