This presentation provides an overview of a rapidly emerging technology area called virtual worlds (also known as 3D-Internet). The major concepts are explored with plenty of examples provided. Emphasis is placed on understanding the use of this new technology in education.

Jonathan has 18 years of experience in the field of information technology (IT). In addition to working in various technology roles, he has consulted with many Fortune 500 companies and has spent the last 12 years with PricewaterhouseCoopers. Jonathan presents often on a range of subjects and has recently addressed audiences at Harvard Business School, MIT, Information Management Forum, and the Conference Board Council of CIO Executives.
